IMASURVIVOR is the symbol of Survivorship. Our vision is to unite and support anyone faced with serious health-related issues. IMASURVIVOR will allow individuals who have been diagnosed with a disease, or are facing a life-threatening injury, to connect with those that have fought that same battle and won. It's a place for those who want to reach out to survivors and learn what lies ahead on the road to recovery.
The survivor community is mighty, and IMASURVIVOR will help direct new patients to others that have faced the same disease, injury, and challenges on their quest for Survivorship! In time, those patients will, themselves, become part of the IMASURVIVOR community, and add to the chorus of survivors offering their experience, insight, and success stories.
Disease and injury occur to individuals, and often the diagnosis, treatment, and recovery process may seem to the patient as if they're fighting their battle alone. We will alter that notion, showing that many others have faced the same diagnosis or injury, met the challenge to recover their lives, and been able to declare: IMASURVIVOR!
If you have fought the battle for Survivorship, it is our hope and prayer that you will return to our site and share your personal journey from diagnosis to recovery. Your experience will help those in need of your testimony, offering tangible proof that being a Survivor is real and within the grasp of anyone facing a similar challenge.
Everyone knows the symbol of the American Red Cross; a simple red icon that means, "help is on the way." IMASURVIVOR has created a new icon that will be recognized everywhere as the symbol of survivorship. The shield symbolizes the strength and determination it takes to overcome life-threatening illness or injury. The shield that ties together the survivor, behind the shield of care-givers, family and friends who provide the strength and protection required to survive. The IMASURVIVOR shield also includes a colored crown, allowing patients to identify themselves with the challenge they've overcome. What's your color?

IMASURVIVOR believes humanity should look at disease and injury that afflict us, and come together under one global symbol of survivorship. We’ve all become accustomed to separate charitable entities dedicated to raising money for their specific causes. But the sheer number of such charities can dilute our attention and generosity, while potentially excluding all but the few (or one) charity which we elect to support. While IMASURVIVOR believes raising money for specific cures and awareness is noble, we have made a conscious decision to take a different approach.
IMASURVIVOR has established an Embedded Generosity program, where a portion of every purchase made in the IMASURVIVOR store will help fund a non-profit, the IMASURVIVOR GIVES BACK FOUNDATION (501c3). The focus of this non-profit will not be on patients with a specific condition, nor in funding research for a cure or treatment that could be years (or a lifetime) away, but rather to look at patient needs in the present. We will offer support to those stricken with any disease or injury that are in need…today. This is also the mindset of Operation Access, making them a perfect partner for IMASURVIVOR and our GIVES BACK FOUNDATION to support. And just like Operation Access, we strive to bridge the Healthcare Gap! We are geared toward helping the financially underprivileged receive whatever treatment they need…not only to beat their disease or injury they face, but to help them fully enjoy life as a survivor! Through beneficial treatments that extend quality life, we want to make a real difference for them now. Disease and injury don’t care about your race or religion. Neither does IMASURVIVOR. If you need help with reconstructive surgery, a new prosthesis, or treatment of any kind, you should have access to what you need. Unfortunately the world doesn’t operate like that, but IMASURVIVOR seeks to change that. We seek to offer tangible help that can make a quality-of-life difference in the here and now. Survivorship is about living today, and making it to tomorrow; IMASURVIVOR understands that reality, and is dedicated to provide assistance today, so that surviving tomorrow and beyond is a real possibility.
IMASURVIVOR has the burning passion it takes to help, but our passion and Embedded Generosity aren’t enough. Our mission to help will benefit greatly from your direct giving.
You don’t need to be a survivor to help. Maybe you heard about us from a friend, or like our symbol and what we represent. Perhaps you believe in our vision of helping others, or you love the idea of banding together with us and those that have already contributed to the cause. Whatever the reason, we encourage all to get involved, to unite as one, and help financially underprivileged survivors.
Please come visit us at www.imasurvivorgivesback.org, and see how you can contribute to our mission of helping others. Help us support survivors who need the financial help.
